Becoming a very rare and collectible, the early Fiat 1200's are considered the best looking of the series. Many Ferrari and Alfa Romeo styling cues can be seen in this beautiful vintage Fiat. Many similarities can be seen from other Italian classics of the same era.

I was told that the Fiat had been brought back to the States by a member a member of the US Air Force. He had been stationed at Wright - Patterson AFB in Dayton Ohio. It still retains some of the AFB sticker as well as a well preserved sticker of the "2750th" Air Base Wing. Ultimately the Fiat ended up being stored in a barn for many years.

Engine: 1200 cc
Color: Red with White Interior

Mileage: 73,947

Title: Clear "Michigan" Title

**I will be adding more pictures within the next few days.**

The Fiat is a true "Barn Find" and will need a full and complete restoration. It is in non running condition.

Mechanically: The engine is in non running condition and will need a complete rebuild. I cannot confirm for sure if the engine is free or locked up. The cylinder head is not complete and is missing the rocker arms. The transmission goes into all gears. The car does roll freely, so no issues with locked brakes.

Body: It will require a full body restoration. All body trim is present including the rocker panel chrome trim which is not installed on the car. There is evidence of older repairs to the lower panels as well as the floor pans. There are holes rust in the corners of the trunk. The jump seat area where the battery is mounted is in good solid condition. Both doors do not stay latched. Driver's side door glass is missing. Passenger side glass only goes up 3/4 of the way. Passenger side vent window is cracked. Convertible top frame is in good condition. Top in poor condition and has no rear window.

Interior: Is in pretty good condition. Seats have been well preserved. Door panels in poor shape. All gauges are in good condition. Steering wheel in good condition.

The FIAT is being sold in "as is" condition with no warranty expressed or implied. I cannot be held responsible for any errors or inaccuracies that may have been inadvertently been provided.

ONCE AGAIN....NO RESERVE AUCTION!
