1974 Fiat 124 Spider
1974 Fiat 124 Spider Convertible Description
I purchased this car after discovering itin Palm Desert California where it had sat for about 20 years after the owner was rear ended as shown in the pictures. I bought it as a project but now just don't have the time for it along with my others. The body is very straight with the exception of the rear panels which are replaceable with reproduced panels that are still available. I replaced the trunk lid with the one in the pic as the one that came with it was bent and I had an extra.. There is a rust hole in the rear floor boardsection on passenger and driver not too bad. The rest of the body is straight and has only a few minor surface rust spots, retty rare on these cars but it lived in the Mohave desert where it is dry but gets some rain and cold but mostly heat. The engine is complete as is the drive train but I haven't got to try to start it yet. Everything you see comes with the car. The tires are brand new as I replaced them and the period alloy wheels are in nice shape. The rear bumperswill be included. The title was long lost but I do have a bill of sale from the owner and will provide one to the new buyer. It is a clean title and not a salvage.
The 1800cc was the highest horsepower generated in the 124 spider series @116 with the exception of the later turbo and European volumex or Abarth variations.I am including a brand new in the box replacement convertible top, hat is what's in the white box. A complete gauge set is included . I removed most of the interior as it was in bad shape but the rest seems in useable shape I may add in a few more pieces as I come across them. I need the space and that's a big part of why Im selling it.
