Dual exhaust
Double Snorkel air cleaner
The exhausts are 2 ½ inch stainless with schedule 40 thrush mufflers and has great sound
The body is rust free with 3 coats of DuPont acrylic enamel Ford Candy Apple Red
The 460 conversion is accomplished by installing 1 ½ inch spacers between the body and crossmember, nd custom engine mounts. There is very adequate engine bay space for servicing or adding accessories.
The 460 has a great street cam, as been bored with ported heads, ll low mileage. Horse power should be in the near 400 range and has enormous torque.
The car is very powerful and draws much attention at the cruise in shows. It drives great and looks stock except for the 460 deck and fender emblems.
The ride is a little bumpy due to the low profile tires.
Doors close somewhat tight due to the new rubber seals. I’m told by the supplier this will loosen up in time.
The 4.11 gearing is not made for turnpike cruising but for rapid acceleration in street cruising/strip.
Braking is somewhat hard due to the removal of power brake booster, s with most performance cams there is not enough engine vacuum for a power booster.
There is a minor oil leak at the rear of the pan, ut very minimal.
The car is very dependable and is a real head turner.
82 model G.T. H. O. Bodies with T-Tops are very rare. Classic car hobbyists are amazed when they see the Big Block engine sitting under the hood.
I have set my reserve very reasonable and good luck with your bidding. Thank you for looking and good luck on your bidding.
