1930 Ford Model A Description

1930 Ford Model A Coupe, built in traditional, pre-war hop-up/hot rod style. Engineered carefully with extreme detail, to keep the patina matching for an authentic, barn find. Everything on this is a fine example of an early style hop-up Ford coupe, includes original parts, rebuilt/replaced with original patina.
Body-1930 Ford Model A coupe (natural patina), I was told this body used to be an early Parade car from Oklahoma in the 1960s. Very nice body condition for it's age, has very little rust areas. Those that are found could be easily fixed or left for the barn find look. Body has all original wood and structure.
Decklid- very nicely done, homemade using a vintage hood off of a 1950s hotrod.
Doors- Original to body, original gas tank and firewall. All sub-rails on body and floor structure are in good California rust-free condition. Original sun visor and windshield with original glass on quarter windows. Early patina chrome garnish moldings.
New wiring, new brake lines, rebuilt brakes, new wheel cylinders, new shoes, new rubber hoses, new master cylinder. Stock model A pedal assembly, modified to be used with hydraulic master cylinder. New bearings and seals on front/rear brake drums. Stock model A steering box and steering wheel.
Chassis- 1930 Ford Model A Chassis. Rear end stock model A, with 1939 backing plates. Good condition original 1939 wide five drums. Chassis has hydraulic brakes all the way around.
Front Axle- 1934 Ford stock front axle, square style spindles, Model A spring and purchase. unsplit wishbones, reversed front spring, 1939 Ford backing plates and drums, all new/rebuilt.
Motor- 1934 Model A stock engine, rebuilt new bottom end, new top end, with new valves. Early original dual carb burns aluminum intake, with original rebuilt dual carb Stromberg 97s. Old School linkage, homemade custom copper carb scoops. Vintage 6 volt fuel pump. vintage/homemade exhaust header, 4 into 1 with vintage exhaust muffler. Stock 1930 Ford Model A transmission.
1929 Ford grill, original and recored original 1929 radiator. Original handmade light bar, using stock Ford Model A. Original patina guide, BLC early blinker headlights, original patina with early style turn-blinkers/running lights.
Wheels- All 4 original patina 1939 Ford wide 5 rims, and Ford original hubcaps and beauty rings.
Front Tires: 600x16 Columbias
Rear Tires- 700x16 Firestones
New old stock, very good driving condition, soft rubber.
Gas tank- early original Model T gas tank, mounted in the trunk, connected to an early 6 volt electric fuel pump.
Brand new seat, upholstery made to look vintage using stock Model A Ford seatframe and springs.
This is a turn key, all original barn find looking hot rod, built in traditional style, it would be very hard to find another one this cool! Buy it drive it, California titled.
