1972 Ford Bronco, Frame Off Rotisserie Restored!!
1972 Ford Bronco Description
Well, it’s finally done!! It's a 1972 Ford Bronco that has had a total transformation! This truck was an original paint truck with a good body and solid internals. We had an itch to step outside the "bronco box" and go with a non-original color on an original body and drivetrain ... and it turned out absolutely beautiful! I have yet to have a negative review on the color.
Here's what was done...
The body was taken off of the frame and put on a rotisserie. The frame and the whole truck were blasted down to raw metal. The bottom of the truck and the interior floor is finished with Raptor Liner. The frame is freshly painted in chassis black. The transmission was disassembled, internals were inspected and found to meet factory tolerances and new seals were installed. All 4 brakes were replaced with new. The truck received 2 new front floor pans, and 1 inner fender. The remaining sheet metal was undamaged and is completely rust-free. The original 302 was honed and received new rings, rods and mains, new camshaft, new Edelbrock 650 carb, and a new fuel pump.New OEM style wheels on factory rims were blasted, painted and wrapped in new BFG 31x10.50x15" tires. New custom interior with matching gray tweed inserts wrapped with black vinyl is installed on the original seat frames which were blasted and repainted. A new RetroSound radio with USB ports and Bluetooth, 5 1/4" Kicker speakers in new kick panel pods were added. She is sporting a new headliner, new door panels, all new weather seals and weather-stripping, 2 1/2" Tom’s Bronco suspension lift, all new Magna Flow dual exhaust (40 series), new body moldings ... there is a lot more. I have over $20K alone in receipts from new parts not including labor. I have over 60 pics of the restoration process if you would like to see them. We have almost a year into the build of this truck and it is absolutely beautiful! This truck was not originally optioned with power steering. If you are interested and want power steering, I will install it for free; all you pay for is the power steering kit.
I strongly encourage seeing this truck in person to see how nice it really is. If you are not able to see this truck in person I would be happy to take the truck to any mechanic or body shop of your choice at your expense. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I can be reached by phone at 307.752.6033.
Also, PLEASE, do us all a favor and only bid if you are qualified and have the funds to complete the purchase. All inspections must be done prior to the auction ending. I reserve the right to end this auction early as the truck is going to be listed locally as well.
THANKS FOR LOOKING AND HAPPY BIDDING!!!
