For sale in our Detroit show room is this Fully Restored 1936 Ford "Humpback" Coupe. Ford moved on from the 1920's with most of the Model T designs intact, but with the extra benefit of cheap, reliable V8 power and a much more appealing exterior styling. Ford gave new styling to their models in 1935 and then a few improvements were added in 1936. Most obvious was the car's new longer, more pointed hoods and matching sharply Vee'd grille. This 1936 Humpback is a very original 2nd owner car that has only just over 39,000 original miles, it was purchased from its original owner in 1978 and has been stored in a garage ever since. In 2014 this Humpback underwent a complete frame off restoration restoring the car to original condition. Every body part on the car is original including the running boards as the only rust evident before the restoration was at the tail pipe area of the car. New parts installed include glass, tires, shocks, battery, authentic Ford upholstery kit, ignition system, and a new 9 volt battery, and still remaining in the car are its original tire jack, lug wrench and crank. This 1936 Humpback is like a time capsule looking just as the car would have back in 1936. As you sit in the driver's seat of the plush interior you feel like a part of history. This Humpback is ready to hit the car shows and arrive in style, and with all of the recent restoration completed it has what it takes to get you there in comfort for years to come.
