1940 Ford Deluxe Sedan Tudor hot rod project or drive as is.
I'm only calling this a project because it lacks a shiny paint job. The body on this car is very nice and would only take minimal work to have it ready for new paint. Or it could be left as is and driven. The car is painted in hot rod black. It does have some scratches and a few chips.
This is an excellent running and driving rod, have driven this car to several car shows, just got back from the goodguys (200 mi. round trip) and as always it performed flawlessly.
Chassis: Original frame, " dropped axle, Posies spring, power steering, split wishbones, front disc brakes, 9" Ford w/parallel leaf springs, ear drums, new non power brake master cyl, new exhaust, poly tank w/electric fuel pump.
Engine: Mild 350 Chevy with an Edelbrock intake and Holley carb, walker radiator, always runs cool.
Trans: TH 350 w/Genie shifter.
Body: All Steel,0 rust. Nosed hood, rear fenders, new steel running boards, front and rear bumpers tucked closer to the body and lowered. It could use a new tail pan. LED taillights.
Interior: All new in 2015, original front and rear seats, vinyl covered, new interior panels, new suede headliner, new SW gauges, new wiring, 8 Ford Deluxe column/steering wheel. New steel bead rolled steel floor from firewall to rear seat. Missing the windshield garnish molding, has a small rock chip in the windshield.
This is not a perfect car, this is a hot rod. I built this car to look like it was built by a serviceman after the war. It is not a street rod (no air/pwr windows, etc), but could easily be taken that direction if desired.
I have a folder 4" thick on paperwork for this car build.
Please call me at 209-327-5537 after 5 pacific time or send an email at bryte4me@att.net anytime with any and all questions. I do my best to accurately describe the car in the description so that there are no surprises but inevitably something gets left out. I can email or text more pics if needed.
Thanks for looking.
