1955 Ford Crown Victoria Description

hello! I have a California built1955 crown Victoria for sale. I bought this car in Denver Colorado roughly 15 years ago. sold it to a friend who passed away before finishing a few years ago. I repurchased and set out to finish. my friend started it as a very mild custom and wanted black all the way around, and that's howi finished it. he was going with amodern motor, I have put it back to original. excellent running 272 with a freshly rebuilt fordamatic. I have just finished it with many, many new parts including all new brakes including lines and hosesfront to rear, master cylinder etc. new fuel tank withlines front to rear. new dual exhaust, new wiper motor, arms and blades. rebuilt and working radio, taillight harness, headlight wiring, headlight switch, ignition switch, heater core and valve, and hoses. rebuilt generator and belt.also axle bearings and seals, u joints, ball joints, stabilizer bushings, water pump, carb rebuilt. all new dash bulbs, headlight bulbs etc. new windshield and rubber, both door glass, all weather stripping on doors and trunk. newly rechromed bumpers and guards, inside tiara chrome and hood bird. also a new old stock grille and parking lights, new emblems and miriors. most of the items were just put on in the last year as the car was being finished. the interior is beautiful including a black headliner, and black cloth inserts. the body is very straight. the car is black and is not perfect as far as the usual minor imperfections and some touch ups that never end with a black car, but the paint is very nice with excellent shine and again very straight .under carriage very good, with original floors, rockers, body mounts, crossmember, trunk pan and trunk rail. the only repairs were to the lower inner and outer quarters. the stainless is also very nice, a couple minor dings on one quarter trim. the tires are excellent radials but a little fading on the whites. new trunk mat with correct jack and cardboards. brand new battery and 6 volt system works well. goes down the road very nice and has new shocks. all lights working. there are many things I have probably missed that are new that I have forgotten about. this car was important to me to get finished up as my friend started it, but I don't really need it and it needs a good home. it is not a flawless show car but is a very quality driver priced very reasonable. reserve is below buy it now. no zero or low bidders with out approval. please ask any questions any other pictures. thanks!
