1966 Ford F-250 Truck
1966 Ford F-250 Custom Cab Description
1966 Ford F-250 all original except for aftermarket aluminum wheels. Original steering wheel and AM radio. No cut outs in dash or door panels. This truck was manufactured at the Ford assembly plant in San Jose, California and spent most of her 50 years in Southern California. It was purchased by a gentleman and shipped to Mishawaka, Indiana in November 2015. It was stored in a garage until I purchased it in the spring of 2016. This truck has never seen snow or salt and it shows. The frame and inner fenders are rock solid including the body. This was originally a long box truck and it was shortened to make it into a short box. The truck was originally blue and has been repainted in a red and white two tone paint scheme. I have replaced the following parts: battery, all hoses and belts, brake lines, radiator, electric radiator fan, accelerator linkage, wipers, wiper washer unit, radio antenna, right and left outside mirrors, interior rear view mirror and air cleaner. This truck could be a daily driver or it is a perfect candidate for a complete restoration. It just had the oil pan and exhaust manifold gaskets replaced along with the rear main engine seal. If you are looking for a solid California truck with an automatic transmission and a V-8 engine this could be the truck for you. It is a head turner for sure... and fun to drive.
