1965 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Description

1965 Ford Galaxie 500 XL convertible. NO RESERVE!!! Beautiful straight body with no visable dents. Matte black paint is only 4 yrs old. all electric including the convertible top and windows. needs new switches for both (neither switch is original, but all work perfectly as is). Motor is strong and reliable and starts every time. hydraulic assisted power steering with less than 1 yr old new pump. and steering box. Brakes have been upgraded to stainless braided lines and power brakes. Edelbrock carburetor works great. Interior is original and worn, but still looks ok. Included in the sale is almost $2000 worth of new white interior pieces (door panels, seat covers, trim pieces, all new and in the box from Ecklers.) the lake pipes in the pictures are for show only and are not operational. this is a very good, fun car and very dependable. I have driven this car 200 miles roundtrip before with no problems. Car has never over-heated and haven't had any major issues with the car at all. Transmission is Automatic and shifts smoothly. I will help arrange shipping, but at buyers expense.
