1967 Mustang Ranchero
1967 Ford Mustang Description
Unique, One of a Kind, Wow, Rare, Just a few comments about this cool car/truck. In the 80's a company out west took 65 and 66 Mustang Coupes and converted them to Mustang/Rancheros. Only a handful were built. This awesome car went through a similar conversion but used a 67 Coupe. the body lines are straight and it was done to a higher standard with an opening and closing tailgate. Only a small handful of these cars exist with this one being a one of one with an opening tailgate. I purchased the car/truck approx. 5 years ago and had it repainted 4 years ago to its rare color of ember glow orange. The paint looks great and the sides of the car are laser straight. There was no rust when I got the car and none whatsoever now. I also had a 67 Shelby hood installed when I had tit painted. The only flaw in the paint is the roof had a vinyl top and when it was repainted it was not prepped correctly so it has a series of small bubbles not rust just bad prep work. It shines and looks great however. The interior looks good even with older carpet and seat covers and door panels. The previous owner had put some Shelby emblems on the glove box and door panels. The headliner looks great and overall the interior is a 7 or out of 10. The car/truck cranks and runs great with a 289V8 and toploader 4 speed tranny I just installed a new carb. It has no issues mechanically The tires are in great shape. I had a new cover built for the bed. There wont be another at any car show or cruise in that you go to. I hate to see it go but my interests have changed. My lose is your gain. Feel free to call with any questions. 334-393-8448
