1970 Ford Torino GT Convertible Description

Up for auction is a 1970 Ford Torino GT Convertible- Factory 351 4 barrel Cleveland with complete numbers matching drive train, which means the engine is original, the transmission is original and the rear end is original. I willtry to keep the description down to a minimum however that will be difficult because of all of the work that has been completed. I had no intentions of selling this car but due to a medical diagnoses that had been given to our family I have no choice so I can pay for final expenses. These are thePros- engine has been completely gone through using OEM parts, the transmission has been gone through using OEM parts, the body is completely rust free and is an original CA car- original owner lived in Point Hueneme CA. The carburetor on the car is made by PonyCarburetor out of Dallas TX and are very expensive- the convertible top is new with a new rear glass window, new top pads, new top cables new well liner, Completely replaced the entire brake system with the exception of the hard lines, wheels are new not original for car but that was a personal choice, tires are brand new. This vehicle was originally equipped with the rubber and metal side molding, which I did save all of it and it will go with the vehicle, all of the holes that where in the car from that molding where welded closed not bondo .I wanted the blue laser stripe on the side which I amaware is not original to this car but again that was a personal choice and I liked it. This stripe is a Phoenix Graphics and can be removed if you do not like it. The interior is in great shape, the dash does not have one crack, the original bench seats where recovered in the originalcolor and material, the door panels are also new and came fromDearborn Classics, the rear door [panels have been recovered as well in the original material, this is a factory rim blowsteering wheel, the rear seat belts will need new covers but are the original to the car the fronts are fine. The Cons- even though the brake system is new there seems to be a problem getting a complete brake pedal, I can only assume it probably has to due with the hard lines which is the only thing that was not replaced. Second the heater core needs to be repairedit has a leak so it has been by passed. Three the clear plastic on the speedo has fogged out and either needs to be polished out or replaced. Four the radio hole for the car has been enlarged and will need an after market radio or somehow repaired and last the left windshield wiper arm is missing and I have not been able to locate a replacement. The reserve on the vehicle takes in all of the above mentioned cons. Now for all of the legal stuff- THIS VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD AS IS WERE IS WHITH NO WARRANTY GIVEN OR IMPLIED. SHIPPING IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER BUT I WILLHELP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE WITH LOADING. PAYMENT- A 15%NON REFUDABLE DEPOSIT IN THE FORM OF CASH, PAYPAL, OR WIRE TRANSFER IS DUE WITHIN 2 DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE, THE BALANCE OF THE MONIES ARE DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE IN THE FORM OF CASH OR WIRE TRANSFER.
