I am the second owner of this car. I bought it in 1998 as a weekend only car.
I had Steeda in Pompano Beach install a complete suspension on it $3709.34
I also bought a set of factory 98 Cobra wheels $799.80.
I bought a fiberglass Cervini 2000 Cobra hood and a set of their Speedster Covers. (These covers have never been on the car. The mounting system was just too complicated. I think you could fabricate a system using a 2 x2” piece of wood that would work better) $1228
The car had a three part $4000 paint job that is guaranteed for life. (Not for you but for me only. I had it touched up 400 miles ago)
It now has 60355 miles. I retired in 2014 and put some money in it to make a daily driver.
New Leather interior and drivers seat motor $2000
New tires Hancock Ventus and mounting $880
Hurst shifter $200
Radiator/thermostat/sensor $506
2000 Cobra Steering wheel and air bag $300
4 new brake rotors/inner outer tie rods/steering wheels and airbag install $1466.51
Since these latest repairs I have put on only 400 to 500 miles on it. Too much traffic in Miami for a 66 year old daily driver I bought a pick up.
So it’s been sitting, over, nbsp;and now is probably the time to get rid of it.
Not counting the paint it would cost you over $10,000 to duplicate this car and that’s not counting the cost of the car.
The drive train is totally stock, ever been touched. Original clutch! Huge but old stereo, orks good.
Never been in a wreck. No Rust.
The car isn’t perfect but it’s darn close.
Top has a little separatio, ee photos.
