Drivetrain:
When I bought this vehicle it ran, ut roughly. I have not tried to start since then. I ran it long enough to ensure a good rebuilder.... did not overheat, luids were good, o knocks or tics, tc. Does have a 351W but it is not original. It has an 80s 351 with 4BBL and headers. Radiator looks newer. Power steering and alternator brackets look homemade but function. Shaker air cleaner is aftermarket reproduction (NOT original). Transmission /shifter looks original and worked as it should. 9 inch rear and driveshaft look original. Drum brakes had been freshly rebuilt prior to my purchase and still seem to function well. Fuel system; lines, ump, nd tank were replaced prior to my purchase. Tank looks like it from another vehicle (not a mustang tank) but fits well and functions.
Exterior:
Repainted yellow at some point (originally white). Paint is in poor condition. Doors and fenders look original. Doors in good shape with minor dings and scratches. Fenders also has minor dings and scratches with rust pinholes near hood edge on passenger side. All glass in good shape. Small amount of surface rust on corners of back window. Rear quarters have been repaired at some point; passenger side showing rust bubbles, river side bottom edge has rust perforations. Roof has a small dent and paint/bondo chip on stripe. Hood is not original and looks new; no rust but does have small dent where it appears the use of a long bolt at attachment to hood hinge pushed up on sheet metal. Deck lid looks original and either has bad paint or small rust bubbles near one corner. All trim looks original and present except missing one mustang fender script and shaker trim. Partial floor and torque boxes had been replaced prior to my purchase and are now covered in surface rust. Front frame rails forward of shock towers and rear frame rails at rear leafspring attachment need repair or replacement. Rims do not appear original. Driver mirror cracked at base. Rear spoiler missing.
Interior:
Interior looks original except replaced carpet, adio and rear roll bar. I have an original AM radio that will go with sale. Dash and steering wheel cracked. Headliner has split seam and some holes. Door panels have scratches, hips and faded carpet. Driver seat has split seam. Rear seat has an area down to foam. Shifter handle has surface rust. Interior has that "I've been stored for a long time smell."
