Up for sale is a 1984 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe that I purchased about 2 yrs. ago for a specific reason that, unfortunately, never happened. It is a replica of the legendary NASCAR driver Bill Elliott's car from back in the day, which was used as a pace car for about a year at Holland International Speedway (Holland, NY) in 1984-85. It has some pretty cool personal history behind it and of course, would share some of it to people that are interested. I'm pretty sure this car only saw, maybe, one light winter back in 86, but I was a lot younger then, so not a 100% there. It was one of my best friends first own personal cars back in the 80's and was pretty much used as fair weathered (toy) use. Having said that, virtually rust free, original and unmolested throughout. It has 76k original miles on it and is mechanically in pretty nice shape. It has the typical 80's patina on paint and decals throughout, but with a quick buff and wax would shine up nicely again. It has the 5 speed manual trans. in it and handles quite well, along with it gets decent mileage. Trunk and engine compartment are clean, original and rust free. Clean original interior, good tires, wheels etc. If my memory serves me correct, I think all items and options work as they should. Car started out as a metallic grey with grey cloth interior from the factory and of course shortly after Holland Speedway obtained car in early 1984, the exterior was customized to what you see now.
