As to condition and features, I originally bought it non-running in 2009. It was lifted in the rear on air bags, had a side exhaust, and Goodyear Polyglass GT tires. Since that time, I've had the following work done:
Tune-up, new battery
Carb rebuild
New distributor
New Bridgestone raised white letter rubber
Magnaflow mufflers with stainless pipes from the header back & new tips
New set of shocks for a stock ride height
I then put a few thousand miles on it over the next couple summers before a tank of e85 gas caused it to no longer hold idle. It was garaged by me for a few years and to present, as I got busy with other projects and work. It has been running since this summer and fires right up since I installed a new power valve, fuel, and battery.
Although complete, the perfect buyer is looking for a project car to restore. Even though it runs and drives with all working systems (steering, brakes, lights, top, etc.), there is natural wear from time, use, and the elements. As with any 50 year old vehicle you can improve on most everything if you choose to restore it. However, you may choose to enjoy it as it is before restoration if you desire. It sounds great and has a certain authenticity to it.It comes with original keys and owner's manual. The original emblems feature the ponies installed backwards on the sides.
The car currently has a rough 30 year old sandpaper-like lacquer paint job. It was repainted in silver blue with light silver metal flake, I've never attempted to polish it out. The original interior could use a refurbish or replacement if you choose, as the drivers seat has seams that are split, and features shag carpetingreplaced inthe 1980's.
It is currently missing the choke, so cold starts aren't the best, but this could be replaced easily. The power valve is missing the cap; however, electric choke options are available which may be a better solution anyway. Both steering and brakes are manual. Brakes are pretty soft and probably need new cylinders. The system has no known leaks and new fluid. The white convertible top is in decent condition and operated electronically just as it should. The original boot is torn; and the body is missing some boot snaps as well. There is rust, which I have taken care to document carefully in the photos: rear deck lid, surface rust on the hood, some bubbles here and there, a spot on the front of the passenger door, and drivers side near the trunk, with a small hold through to the tire on the far left side. The frame boxes have rust as well, but can be repaired with aftermarket units(as with any part on these cars). There is a small crease on the front drivers side fender. Every body shop that I've consulted with about a paint job says that the car is very straight. The pot metal headlight surrounds are also in uncommonly great shape.

I can help you arrange shipping at your cost, but I encourage you to pick up. Again, please ask any questions prior to bidding and be prepared to make a deposit of $500 and complete the purchase within a week of auction close in Ohio.
