I am sellingthis T-Bird from my private collection. I purchased this car from the St. Louis Auto Museum in 2010 w/21954 miles. There is a title trail with two previous owners both in Louisville. First was 1966-1981. Then the previous owner from 1981-2008. I can recall this car in the previous owners museum in the 1990's and him talking about how early on the production line it was (#401 out of 16,155 1955 models).Clean and clear KY title in my name w/ 21954 actual miles printed (now has 22,149).

-Car runs and drives great, no known issues. Good start, idle, power, no smoke. Good brakes. Minimal fluid seepage. Original Firestone Bias white wall tires (unsure of date or if they are original).Drivetrain is Completelyoriginal except Generator was recently replaced.

-Interior is in great original condition, unkown if carpet or seat cover has been replaced at some point. Power windows, gauges, wipers, horn, signals, lights/brights, heater, locks, power seatsand interior light all working as they should. Radio and clock currently not working.

-Body is extremely solid, no rust bubbles, cracks or any pitting anywhere. It has had a older Single Stage respray at some point in its life. It still shines extremely well. It has some minor wear, small nick here and there but nothing that stands out. All the body panel underside edges are original paint, stock and clean with no evidence of body work, or panel replacement, no pits or evidence of prior rust. Correct Raven Black.

-Trim appears to be all original and in good condition showing some signs of age. No Pits or aftermarket trim.

-Glass is in good shape overall, factory tint, windshield appears original, still has 1972 KY insurance decal. Rear glass has some small minor scratches. Driver window has a recent crack that I have not replaced yet. Aftermarket glass is $41. Power windows work.

-Wiring is original and everything is working.

-Hartop and softop in good working order.

-Undercarriage is good, looks to be untouched. Frame is not undercoated and has no signs of rust or damage ever. Some newer parts like shocks and the stainless exhasut that runs through the bumper. Some residue and typical seepage on drivetrain and suspension to be expected.

-Trunk is great, no issues found. Has original spare and mat. No corrsion or previous damage found.

-Engine bay looks great, original never touched other than maintenace. Original generator ( no longer have) was replaced with Generator style alternator. Battery is a vintage 6V Ford like the original . Has cut off switch for storage. Power steering and Power brakes.

Overall this is an amazing car that is an early production with all the options, very low miles and unrestored other than the nice older repaint. A time capusle that has spent the majority of its life in museums needing little to nothing to enjoy, show or display today.
