1968 Ford Mustang Description

This is a 1968 Ford Mustang that truly is a joy to drive and really captures the feeling of a classic car.It is powered by what i believe to be its original 289 V8 tied to what I also believe to be its original automatic transmission. The previous owner claimed to have the engine and transmission rebuilt around10,000 miles ago, butI do not have paper work to support this. The carmay not have powersteering, but it really does steer easily. The factorydrum brakes stop this little Pony just fine, and really add to the classic experience. The paint on the car is nice and presentable, and shines up nicely. It doeshave a few small imperfections, but nothing major. There are a few spots that have some minor bubbles that are completely under the paint, but have apparently been there for years without getting any worse. As long as the car stays outofthe harsh winter environment; these spots could take years to get worse. The caralso hasa vinyl top, and looks also very presentable. This adds to the general look and vibe of the car (in my opinion). The car has been stored indoors for many, many years and only taken out on nice days. The wheels really set this car apart from other Mustangs out there! The interior is in good shape with minimal wear. There are some small spots in the vinyl where the stitching has pulled loose, but certainly not anything that needs to be addressed right away. In general... the interior is very correct, and in nice shape. The underside of the car is solid, and does not show any signs of damage in the past or any frame repairs or welds.All-in-all this is a nice, inexpensive weekend cruiser that has the same look, sound and attitude of a car three times its price.
