1961 Ford Thunderbird Description

This car has been re-sprayed in its factory Teal metallic color. The paint was recently buffed and waxed to a polished high gloss beautiful shine. The exterior chrome bumpers have been re-chromed and show beautifully. The original exterior stainless trim shows beautifully and is issue free. The car has new leather front and back seats done in the original color, Cream White. A new Black loop pile carpet kit has been installed to complete its fresh interior cabin. The origanal interior trim chrome, aluminum dash and chrome trim are defect free with the original gauges working perfectly alongside the issue free original black steering wheel. The dash clock is not working at this time. The original padded dash is issue free and shows very well. The interior lighting, dash lighting and electrical is working without issue.

This car has had new rubber seals installed in the trunk-door windows- hood and rear fender skirts.

This Thunderbird's' original 390Cu. In./325Hp V8 engine has been completely rebuilt and roars through new dual exhaust. This car is equipped with its original rebuilt transmission that is issue free. The engine sports its factory chrome air cleaner and valve-train covers that show beautifully. The cars fully restored engine bay is equipped with its working original windshield wiper fluid bag and hood insulation.

The front suspension has been rebuilt along with the entire power brake system. The car has been recently serviced to correct any misalignment issue. This Thunderbird is equipped with Power Steering-Power Brakes-Power Windows-Power Driver Seat and working factory Air-Conditioning.

The trunk interior area is finished in new black pile carpet with matching spare tire cover. The car maintains its original jack in the left rear quarter fender compartment. This car also maintains its original Owners' Manual along with a shop manual for home repairs.

The tires were brand new upon completion of the restoration and are mounted on factory installed chrome American Racing spoke wheels. The spare tire is a matching example located in the trunk.
