I have owned the Anglia since 1998.Ifinished building the car in2013. The Anglia has a clear title in my name dated 1998. This is an all metal car except the trunk lid which is fiberglass as I liked the French license plate look. Has a 1995 LT1 Chevy engine with a 4L60 transmission and an 8 inch ford rearend with a prostreet ladder bar kit installed, also with coilovers.. Theengine and the transmission have never been broken apart since paired on the chevrolet assembly line. They have around 16k original miles on them. Somewhere around 300 Hp with Rewarder headers and Borla mufflers.
The chassis is a 2x4 tubular custom built with a Fat Man phase II front suspension, Carrera coilovers. The engine, and transmission was installed by Fat Man Fabrication, Charlotte, NC. Along with a custom built 4 row aluminum radiator, and custom built gas tank.
The interior is all leather installed by JB Auto Upholstery, Raleigh, NC
The trunk is not finished as this is where the battery is mounted, along with gas tank access.
The paint is a Sems, Electric Orange, USA body, Clayton, NC.
Has 14 coats candy paint, 4 coats clear coat. Does have a small bubble on the roof.
This is a Show Car/Driver and get 25 MPG highway.
When I built this car I kept it very clean so it doesn’t get dated with time.
I have won many best of show with this Anglia. It was featured on Dream Ridez on MAVTV in 2014 while entered in the East Coast Drag Time Hall of Fame Show filmed in Henderson, NC. Also pictured on Lokar Show 2013, Finished in Sweet 16 at the Capital Classics, Raleigh Convention Center. Also won first place at the NC State Fairgrounds, Dorton Arena, Carolina Collector Auto Fest.
Please callwith any questions beforeyou bid. Pleasecome by or have someonecome by and inspectthe car for you. I have done my best to describe the Anglia. I have included many good pictures from some of the events. It is impossible to list all thelittle items on the car.
Also please read the payment section carefully. I will not vary off of what is explained there. Cashiers checks may havehold put on them by my bank. My bank will give me a letter of how long the hold will be. I will forward you a copy of the letter.Thelength of the hold will depends on the bank that it is sent from. Some smaller banks can take up to 10 business days. The car will not leave my home until my bank says the check has cleared. No exceptions. That is why I like wire transfers and cash.Cash is great if picking up in person.I explained this to try avoid any misunderstanding. I really would like to see this Anglia go to a true classic car lover.
