1970 Ford Torino Base Description

A 1970 Ford Torino. It's a non GT sports roof (Fords term for fastback). The car has its original 302 V8 2v with a C-6 column shifted automatic. It does run but currently doesn't have a battery. The car has 45209 on the odometer but has probably 145209 miles. The transmission has a moderate leak that keeps the car from being drive-able. Last driven approximately 2 years ago.Steering is loose, as was the case with most of these cars but the brakes are functional.
The car is the base model but does have the cobra style (missing emblem) grill and GT tail lights. Crager mags with Cooper Cobra tires.
Paint is fair and body does have rust in the lower quarter panels. Floor pans have been replaced and a patch panel with partial frame rail replacement on left side of trunk floor. New rear leaf springs installed about 3 years ago. Trunk lid has moderate rust but a rust free trunk lid will go with the car. A lot of parts to go with the car including a 351 Cleveland 2v with matching C-6 transmission (out of a 1971 Torino), front and rear bumpers, some glass including rare sports roof back glass, dual exhausts, original disc brake setup and master cylinder, miscellaneous body and dash parts.
Original front bench seat is not in the car but does come with the car. It needs to be recovered. No carpet.
