This is a super clean 1967 Mustang convertible built at the Metuchin plant on May 31 1967 and was delivered to the Atlanta DSO in July of 1967. It was built as a springtime yellow Mustang convertible with a black standard interior, a “C code” 289 2 barrel engine and an automatic transmission. It also has a power top as well as power steering and a 2.79 rear axle. We are not sure when this car got to California, but it has been their most of its life, given the California blue license plate. It has the original floor pans and rockers and has no rust on it anywhere as evidenced by the pictures of the underside. It has all the original panels with the exception of a new driver’s side quarter skin and the tail light panel that we replaced, from a small fender bender.
This car is a great candidate for a complete restoration project or even a nice driver and is not far from completion. The car is mostly complete and all the glass is in place and in good condition. The power convertible top raises and lowers on its own power and is complete with no missing parts.
We are a professional Mustang and Bronco restoration shop and have too many customer projects at this time to complete this project. We have a date code correct engine and transmission available for an additional cost if interested. We are also Scott Drake parts distributers and will offer the buyer an initial order for Drake parts at cost plus shipping. Get all questions answered before bidding.
