Up for sale is a beautiful all original true 64 ½ mustang convertible with original 260 V8, C4 Auto Transmission, with a Power top and Power steering, Poppy Red Exterior with White Interior. Not many mustangs still existing today that are from the very short era of 64 ½ production. This car has a clear title and has been off the road since 72 it needs a complete restoration. This car is complete and in all original condition, only part I am missing for the car is the original radiator but everything else is there. I have many more pictures of the car please contact me for them. All of the originalchrome is in great shape, it must be seen in person to truly appreciatethe condition, pictures don't do it justice. It mainly needs the usual floor pan and trunk pan replacement, quarters are really solid but do have a few pin holes. The Front Shock towers are in good structural shape with no rot. All the door, trunk, and hood gaps are perfect just like they were from the factory. This car has the original motor, transmission and rear. Everything from the block, heads, intake manifold, etc. are all original to the car. This car has been confirmed as a true 64 ½ mustang via the door tag and has all the original parts to prove it. The car still has the original 64 ½ power steering pump, generator, radiator support with heat vents, hood has the unimproved edges, beveled headlight bevel, 64 ½ horns and many more features that prove it is indeed a true 64 1/2. The door tag checks out as being a true 64 ½ mustang please see pictures for what everything decodes to and what options the car had. The restoration on this car has already been started by removing the motor and Trans and misc. other parts. Every nut and bolt has been bagged and tagged so when you put this car back together it is much easier and faster to reassemble. I am currently selling this car because I have another project car (67 RS Camaro Convertible ) I want to focus my time on and this car is in storage waiting to be finished.
