1990 Ford Mustang GT Description
• 2009-2010 - installed new dark blue canvas top. Also had dual Flowmaster exhaust installed; new tires; upgraded radio; sent front seat belts to be refurbished - then reinstalled. • 2011 - had a/c fully replaced with R134 Sanden system: windows tinted • 2012 - installed “Mustang Powered” valve covers; new under hood insulation • 2014 - automatic transmission replaced with remanufactured unit • 2015 - interior was completely removed, refreshed, and re-installed; computer was checked out and reconditioned; heater core and hoses replaced; new starter and starter solenoid; Fuel pump and relay replaced; shocks replaced; replaced various weather stripping; replaced full headlight assemblies • 2016 - re-painted silver on exterior as an interim upgrade; added hood striping; replaced rear upper and lower control arms, bushings, and new springs. Installed new “Mustang” logo door sills. Replaced front window guide rod bushings; new door handles; new interior door handle cups; replaced steering wheel; This has been a work in progress, and I’ve escalated the restoration each year. Now it only needs a little body work and fresh paint to be an outstanding Fox Body example. The engine compartment has had very little upgrades, but that’s your chance to personalize it with some “bling”. The car runs great, and I would not hesitate to drive it any distance. Check online and you’ll see that a fully restored example will run $12K-$14K on average. Some even more. Yes, it has 131k miles, but don't let other ads fool you. These cars have 5 digit odometers, and sellers will use that visual as if it were absolute. You can rest assured the majority have over 100k in reality.
