1967 Ford Mustang Description
Ford short block 460 bored 0.30 to 466. SuperCobraJet heads. MSD goodies throughout. 5.88 gears. Great new dash. Runs on pump gas. Full roll cage. Narrowed 9" Ford. With 18" wide tires on the rear. Holley street fighter carb, on top of a Weaiand intake. Nice original mustang seats inside. Incredibly straight, all metal CA body. One of the most collectible fastback years. Can either drop rear axle and put in lower gears and smaller tires to cruise- or just keep her as it is ..a ProStreet car. Previously was a drag car from Illinois. I was going to add serpentine kit, ac and more ..but just became too expensive, and I don't want to cut it all up. Electric fan is mounted in front of radiator. 20gallon fuel cell in the back, runs on pump fuel. Awesome car. Paint is dated, various smaller chips. But the purple flames and DuPont Chroma Yellow just scream HOT ROD. People absolutely love this car. BODY:::::
The paint on the car is actually very beautiful and nostalgic. It is DuPont Chroma Base Yellow with royal plum metallic flames with hand done pinstriping on the flame edges.
The body of this car is so solid and super straight. I have owned a lot of 67-68 mustangs and the body on this car is one of the nicest I have had. The panels are super solid, the lines are super straight, the doors and trunk lid shut soundly and line up great.
The door jambs, rocker panels, window channels etc are in in superb factory condition. The car is laser straight. The roof, and quarter panels are in immaculate condition. The bottoms of the doors are dry as bone. The floor pans are super solid as well as the floor pans and frame rails.
Original California car that never really saw the road for daily driving. The car has been tubbed and back halved but it was professionally done. The car has subframe connectors. The trunk area was modified to fit a 20 Gallon fuel Cell.
The car has a full roll cage. The firewall has been modified to fit the big block engine and the shock towers were slightly notched. There car has a few minor chips here and there and a couple minor dings that didn’t break the paint in the lower left quarter. Very minor.
