1954 Ford F100 - A project Truck.
This project was a homage to Dad who was a small town Ford dealer for 25 years and passed in 1996. I got half way through project and have been stricken with multiple brain surgeries and am physically and financially able to wrap this up.
The Idea was to keep this substantially stock with creature comforters, sadly I didn’t get that far.
There what has been done thus far:
1. Frame sandblasted and powder coated.
2. Engine (223 ci ) professionally rebuilt. Bored .80 over. From the Crank up new parts list.
3. Frame, suspension and transmission have been rebuilt, bearings, races, seals, wheel cylinders etc.
4. The Engine and Transmission are mounted in frame
5. I have the alternator to convert to a 12 Volt system.
6. Currently the cab and box are off the frame
The body work is next to wrap it up. There is a small pocket of rust in the rear passenger side. The Box needs some sheet metal work but it is not major. The only part missing when I bought this truck was the tail gate. Everything else, including the stock wheels and the spare are there.
I have ALL receipts for the work I have done on this vehicle.
If your looking for a starter project, I did the heavy lifting for you, now all have to do is the fun part! Sadly, I can’t be there to participate.
Happy Bidding!
