1981 Ford Model A Description

For auction is a superb 1981 Shay Model A Ford Roadster. The car is one of the nicest Shays out there with a candy apple red paintjob with black fenders and running boards. The Firestone white walls are from 2016 and look great. The car has many actual Model A Ford reproduction parts and runs and drives enjoyably well. The car is equipped with a Ford Pinto 2.3L 4 cylinder, four speed manual transmission, front disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, Model A manual dual chrome wipers, side curtain set, rumble seat, seat belts,single fender mounted spare wheel,custom rear view round mirror, etched glass windwings, Model A single working aoogah horn, front and rear rumble seat heaters, repainted black wire wheels and chrome hub caps. Has a custom made original style trunk and comes with spare original Model A Ford1928-9and head light bar and headlights fora more originallook. Has an AM/FM digital radio with a CD player. Newer exhaust system with nice quiet muffler.
Body and interior are in excellent condition. Vehicle still retains all side curtains for top and the top was custom fabricated by an upholstery shop with the center rear panel able to be unclipped and rolled up for more air. Undercarriage is also in excellent condition. Has a Ford emblem on the radiator and a Model A chrome stone guard on the radiator. Has a clean, clear and open title ready for the next owner. The VIN is located on the original seat riser. The gas gauge may not be as accurate as when it was new but does show fuel.
