1963 Ford Falcon Convertible Description

Up for sale is a 1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible. 170 inline 6 with 2 speed auto trans. Factory black interior, original beige exterior. Car is priced to sell with no reserve! Bought two project cars and decided to finish the other one so this one has to go. Here is a breakdown of the car.

Pros

• Power top works great
• New battery
• Starts right up and idles strong
• Runs, drives and stops
• Lights and turn signals all work
• Body is fairly straight
• New fuel tank and lines
• New brakes and wheel cylinders
• Seats in pretty fair condition
• Bumpers recently professionally rechromed
• Appears to have very little exterior body rust

Cons

• Very poor, "homemade" enamel paint job by previous owner - car needs stripped
• Driver side floor boards and interior rocker panel need replaced
• Slight rust through in trunk
• Newer convertible top, but had a tear repaired
• Front bucket seats are not factory seats - will need a seat track fabbed up
• Most of interior needs restored
• Needs a full tune up
• Most of chrome trim needs replaced due to heavy pitting
