1956 Ford F-100 Pickup, Original

This is a very nice original unmolested 1956 Ford F-100 pickup, California truck. In fact it was in the 1987 movie “La Bamba” and the Murder She Wrote TV movie “South by Southwest”. This truck has been in the same Family for about 30 years. The family has moved to Washington State where the truck has been garaged since that time. It is all original and in excellent condition, everything works as it should. It has a V-8 272 cu in motor with three speed on the column manual transmission. This is a daily driver, not a show car. The paint is in good condition, but faded here and there with nicks and small scratches. The tires are like new. Brakes, clutch, transmission and lights all work fine. No oil leaks, no smoke. The interior is also in very nice condition with all gauges working. The grayish wood bed is all original, a bit rough, but still handsome and useable. The back window is cracked but all of the other windows are fine and operate as they should. It also has an old 8-track tape mounted under the dash with extra tapes. There are two old drive-in movie theater speakers hanging on both sides of the interior cab, they can be removed with no damage. I also have the original Operators Manual and Lifetime Lubrication Agreement from Galpin Motors in San Fernando, Calif dated 11/6/56 when the truck was first sold. This is a really nice pickup for daily use or a great candidate for full restoration. It turns heads and starts conversations everywhere it goes. No hidden problems with this truck, just a handsome well taken care of vehicle. The high bidder will be very satisfied.
