1951 Ford Tudor 84882 Miles Yellow Sedan V8 Flathead 225 ci 3-Spd Manual
1951 Ford Model A -- Description
STK 2177 1951 Ford Tudor Sedan Ford introduced their post-war sedans in 1949. They were dubbed the 'shoebox' Fords and were the most modern looking vehicle produced in the era. In 1951 Ford introduced a new front-end with the 'dual spinner' grill that made the car appear much wider than previous models. Our 1951 Tudor Sedan retained that signature grill and then received a beautiful street-rod restoration in 2008. Starting with a straight and solid body the builder shaved the hood and trunk as was the custom in the '50s. A stunning coat of Porsche Yellow was applied and is nicely accented by period-correct chrome wheels wide-white radials and 'baby moon' hubcaps. The interior has been nicely restored using high-quality black/yellow vinyl upholstery material with custom logo stitching. The classic dashboard looks much like it did in 1951 including the AM radio - probably the factory piece. This sedan is powered by Ford's 239ci flathead V8 rated at 100bhp. It was rebuilt in 2008 and is backed by a 3-speed manual transmission with column shift. Everything under the hood looks original but we cannot be absolutely sure that this is the factory motor. The electrical system has been upgraded to an alternator-based 12-volt setup. Four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes provide stopping power. This is solid classic street rod is ready for your next summer cruise-in. Call 800-650-1055 or visit for additional information. ALL VEHICLES SOLD AS IS.
