"Rare" Original Condition !!!
1971 Mustang Mach I, 351 Cleveland 4 Speed. Runs and Drives like New! 1 of less than 500 made in 1971. 128,550 original miles. All original body. Never wrecked. No bondo!! Had magnetic paint thickness gauge to verify. Sold new at Stockton California Ford Dealership. Later traded in at car lot in Lodi CA. Owner's son had it painted Yellow in 1977. No body work! Only color change. A high school friend of mine bought it in 1978. Still have Pink Slip and Registration to show he owned for the next 39 years. This car has never been more than 60 miles from where it was bought new.
Small rust around tail lights. The rest is rust free! Original Engine, Transmission and Rear End. Engine has under 20,000 miles since rebuild by Ken Snyder Ford Racing. Engine was bored 20 over, Heads rebuilt, Crank, Pistons and Rods were balanced. Still have original Intake Manifold, but do not have original Exhaust Manifolds.
Interior is not perfect. But nice for a 46 year old interior. Need a Headliner and Door Panels have some cracks. Minor Dash Pad Crack. Radio has been upgraded. Speaker holes in front plastic Kick Panels.
1 ding in black stripe of trunk lid the size of a nickel. Paint is showing its age. Small chips and blemishes, as it's 39 year old paint.
