1963 Ford Galaxie Description

For sale is a 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL. This is a nice vehicle. I purchased it a couple of years ago because I wanted a nice classic vehicle that was nice to drive and didn't need much work. The problem is, haven't been able to enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I would like to keep it but would rather put this money towards a '34 Ford Coupe. Not sure of how many owners but from what I gathered, am like the 4th or 5th owner. Appears that there was a somewhat amateur repainting and interior work done. I'm assuming sometime in the 80's (just a guess). Mechanic changed the oil pan and transmission pan gasket and was very impressed with the guts. He said the engine and transmission looked brand new. There is no visible rust. This classic runs and drives. There is a lil smoke when driving but not bad. It might need some attention but nothing serious. This vehicle is located in Lincoln, ebraska. It is for sale locally and this auction may be terminated at any time. I don't need to sell it so don't even waste your time with low ball offers. Because I don't need to sell it I'm hoping that a fan of classic vehicles is interested and appreciates the true value. It is reasonably priced. There are no warranties expressed or implied. This purchase is as is. It is the responsibility of the buyer to use diligence. If you want to view it please contact me for more info. It is currently garaged. If purchased, here will be a down payment of $500 and the remainder in a cashier's check or cash (locally). Buyer is responsible for pick up and shipping. If you make arrangements for shipping...I will make it as easy as possible.
