Sweet little first-year Bronco. Two owners since 1968; the previous owner is a doctor who purchased it from a Denver Ford dealer's used car lot (it was sold new in Denver, lso) and I am the current owner, aving purchased it from him three years ago.
This is an original, ncut survivor that has not been molested, estored or altered. It has the reliable straight-six and three-on-the-tree shifter. It had one respray in the mid-1970s in the original Arcadian Blue and the driver's floor pan was replaced at that same time. I replaced both door strikers and the floor channel that runs between them, ut all other metal is original.
The VIN is U14FL748225. That breaks down to:U14 – Half cab;F – 6 cylinder, 70 cubic-inch motor;L – Assembled at the Michigan truck plant;748225 – Built in September 1965.
Below the VIN the other build codes are:092 – 92” wheelbase;F – Arcadian Blue paint;U140 – U-100 half cab;197 – Body/trim code where 1 = bench front seat and 97 = half cab top;C – 3-speed transmission;03 – 4.11 axle gear ratio;51 – DSO (district sales office) Denver.

The seals where the shift rods enter the transmission have recently started to seep oil, ut there have been no other oil leaks in the time I've owned it.
There is some rust that has not been fixed. There is a large rust hole in the passenger-side engine bay in front of the firewall (a common problem) and three small rust holes in the bed; two are from bolted-on channels that trapped water (the channels were used to locate the front tires of the previous owner's dirt bikes) and the third is in the right rear corner of the bed. See the last four pictures. Also, he passenger side kick panel has rust, ut has not rusted through. I sealed it when I replaced the door strikers. There is also some rust bubbling under the paint in the bottom right corner of the driver's door and in the bottom right corner of the tailgate. It was a hard decision to leave these fairly easy fixes to another day because fixing them meant a respray and I so love the "survivor" looks, ven if it was sprayed almost 40 years ago. The rust areas are not an issue because I live in Phoenix and I only drive it for pleasure.
No reserve other than the starting price. Feel free to ask questions during the auction and I'll provide as much information as possible. Thank you.
