1916 Ford Model T Speedster Description
1916 Ford Model T Runabout We're resisting this car because of an accidental "Buy it Now" click by a user. Thank you for your understanding!
This Brass Era Model T Runabout received a thorough restoration some years ago and is still looking incredible. It could be one of the best examples of a Brass Era T we have ever seen. Less than 100,000 Runabout were produced in 1916, making it the rarer of the two main bodies produced by Ford that year. What a car! The body is all steel and is finished in era appropriate colors. Besides a few small paint chips in the typical places, the paint is in excellent condition. A look at the underside of the car shows little wear since restoration. Thanks to an electric starter, it is far easier to drive than a crank start Model T!Mechanically, the car is very sound and would make for an excellent parade car and would proudly represent itself in any collection. Inside, the seat was refinished in black leather when it was restored and it looks great. Incredibly, the side mounted tool box is present, and includes an era correct tool kit and vintage items. The top has just been replaced and is in excellent condition. If you're looking to add a brass era open top to your collection, this car is an excellent choice!
