This 1932 Ford Hot Rod Pickup is a high end build with lots of special components. Starting with the original 1932 Ford frame which was lowered and lengthened 12â€, the original all steel Pickup cab was mated with a custom shortened steel bed. It has a '48 Ford front end with Bell axle, and large Buick Roadmaster finned brakes, stops on a dime.
The spectacular engine is a freshly rebuilt 1959 Buick Nail head. It has a special "export" solid lifter cam, adjustable valves, and puts out 300hp / 400 lb ft of torque, A unique 4 carb setup sits on a customized Offenhauser manifold. Check out to cool carb linkage made out of minature connecting rods, the switch blade dip stick, and vintage Hurst mounts. The torque and sound of this engine are awesome, and the engine runs flawlessly. Mechanically the car has under 1000 miles on it, mostly cruise nights and going to shows...it is a show stopper!
The transmission is a Chevy T5 5-speed manual with a Chevy 10 inch clutch. The rear is a Ford Ranger 8.8 inch setup with 3:43 gears, and custom trailing link suspension. The interior is done "Jerry Garcia" style, with custom gauges, a NOS MW heater/defroster, Radson tachometer, and electric wiper. Has modern wiring harness with plug in type fuses and relays. The distressed paint work is high end, and there is no rust anywhere. The underside is as clean as the top.
Other cool features include: Vintage horn, coil, and fuel pump, custom wheel covers, '50 Ford tail lights, glass pack mufflers, LED turn signals integrated into the front axle, integrated 12 gallon fuel tank, Austin Healey shocks, LED third brake light, and pull out tool boxes under the seats. The front window opens for ventilation, and the side glass is laminated saftey glass. It still has it's original VIN stamped into the frame, and a clear actual miles PA title. Truly a one of a kind Hot Rod that gets tons of attention wherever she is driven.
