The custom truck market is on fire right now, and the Toy Barn is thrilled to offer this super-hot, fully restored and totally custom 1948 Ford F1. This truck is a new arrival here to us at the Toy Barn, a recent trade in from a local client and Toy Barn "regular". If you're looking for a complete, one of a kind, ready-made cruiser, this is the truck. This F1 is custom built from the ground up, with every nut and bolt accounted for, with nearly 10 years and countless money and time invested to get it to the point it is now, and it's a traffic stopper. This 48' Ford has a beautiful bright Red finish, and the steel cab is excellent and rust free. The fenders and boards are BeBop Fiberlass units, and the bed is an all steel replica bed finished with an oak floor for a stunning and custom look. The stainless grill, bumpers, and handles complete the look and match the chrome 18" Foose "Knuckle" wheels, and from front to back, this truck looks fantastic. As for the powertrain, this Restomod machine has the heart of a C5 Corvette Z06, the powerful and ultra-smooth LS6 with over 400 horsepower and complete multi-point fuel injection mated to a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission. Finishing out the powertrain is custom Hooker headers pushing the exhaust gas through a complete Magnaflow exhaust system. Underneath, this truck is completely finished and built to drive. The front end is a Mustang II unit with disc brakes, and the rear is a TCI leaf spring setup with street rod shocks at all 4 corners. The stance is fantastic, the ride is VERY nice, and the overall look of the truck is excellent. We're excited to have such a truck here in our inventory; we have quite a bit of documents and info to pass along to the next owner including several receipts and a full build list. Like most custom vehicles, there is always something more that can be done. This truck is ready to cruise and enjoy, but the a/c unit is not complete as it is missing a control unit and ventilation (the a/c compressor is intact and ready).
