1955 FORD THUNDERBIRD, SOFT & HARD TOPS, NEW STUNNING TORCH RED, RED & WHITE INT. AUTO, REBUILT V-8, NEW SS EXHAUST, NEW COKER RADIALS, NEW SOFT TOP, AUTOMATIC, RESTORED HARD TOP INCLUDED AS WELL, SPARE.

You are bidding on a sweet 1955 Ford Thunderbird which i had restored so that i could drive my dream car during my retirement years.It has stunning new very costly full professionally completed body and paint restoration with two tone red & white interior, rebuilt V-8 4V, automatic transmission, 4-way seat (no motor it is not working), correct jack, both tops, new soft top, i purchased the proper steel hard top separately which needed to be restored (which alone cost 5k). New Coker Radial wide white wall tires, correct bias spare. A lovely Bird restored to be driven and enjoyed. I have about 65k invested i'm retired owner with hip/knee problems its become hard for me to get in & out wife had me put it up for grabs so someone younger will be using it more.

The Details;

This 1955 Thunderbird was treated to an expensive 15 months to complete full paint & body restoration in a gorgeous deep Torch Red base/clear urethane that looks miles deep and is show worthy. It has a rust-free arrow straight body. The polished chrome is in beautiful condition. It has new Coker Wide white Radials installed with chrome wire hubcaps, fender skirts, correct hardtop with new headliner, new white soft top installed, factory snap in tonneau cover. The two-tone interior is clean with new carpets seat cover dash pad. T-Bird updated radio as well. The 4 way seat option is not working no motor I never got around to it.The engine compartment nicely detailed and motor was out during body resto engine bay was painted as well. The trunk is nicely detailed full correct bias spare see pix. The white convertible soft-top is newalsothe hardtop was restored.

The heart of this 1955 T-Bird is its freshly rebuilt Ford nom V-8 4V that runs strong mated to a fully Automatic transmission. Has new Stainless steel exhaust system, new gas tank and more. It recently passed strict PA inspection. Considered one the best looking, most recognizable, 2 door American Iconic roadsters of the 50's era.
