1963 Ford Galaxie Galaxie 500 XL Description

1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 XL convertible. Pulled from a building a few weeks ago where it was drove in 18 years ago. New fuel pump, new master cylinder, new plugs. 390 with 4 barrel carb. I think it all original. Starts, runs, and drives good. Could use a carb kit and tuneup to make it runs perfect, but still runs and drives good. Has an exhaust manifold leaking on the passenger side. Transmission shifts good. Speedometer and odometer work. Shows 23xxx miles, probably 123. Brakes work but could be better. Needs a wheels cylinder on front. Tires hold air but are not very good. Power steering works good. Power top works up and down good. Top is shot. The boot is there but has a couple small holes in it. Outside chrome is all in good shape. Nice straight car but it has been repainted at sometime. It does have some rust that i tried to picture. It also does have some filler in it. Has some small holes in the floor pans Not sure if they will show in the pictures. The interior is complete but will need some work. See photos. The car starts runs and drives good as is and doesn't look bad. If you want a perfect car it is a restoration project. Its all in what a guy wants to drive.
