My father collected classic cars and Schwinn bicycles. The family is liquating his collections. This 1957 T Bird was his favorite because it has a factory manual transmission with a floor shift. The car gas been stored for several years but drives fine. The speedometer reads 5,800+ miles. A close examination of the car clearly indicates that it has had a frame off restoration. I have taken several photos of the undercarriage to show the quality of the restoration. Also,we believe it was restored with factory NOS parts. One can see the Ford part numbers on the parking lights, tail lamps, etc, All of the chrome and stainless is perfect. The Ford Script is on the vent windows and port holes. It comes with both tops.It starts easily and drives very well. It idles rough but runs as you would expect when taken off idle or cruising.
The paint on the outside of the deck lid is chipped and the paint on right quarter panel has hair line cracks. The paint on the front sheet metal and doors is show quality. Also, the left tail lamp housing has two broken mounting studs. There is a factory replacement that goes with the car.
The convertible top looks brand new!!!

On May-15-17 at 08:50:47 PDT, seller added the following information:I learned this morning that as a C Code Car, it has a 2 barrel carburetor and a 292 engine. I am not an expert on T Birds but am happy to look for information that is on the car or take additional photographs.
My apology for listing it as a 312!!
