1957 Ford F-100 Rare 1957 Hot Rod Pickup Description

Rare 1957 Ford Pickup 429ci

I love this truck, although it looks like an 800 horse power Gasser in actuality it has 450hp. I wanted something that looks & sounds like it belongs at the race track but also I could use as a reliable daily driver. The 429 motor was totally rebuilt with dual quads & a blower looking bug catcher on top. It's got a weiand manifold, crowler cam, 9in Ford rear end, MSD ignition headers with a flowmaster exhaust. This 57 runs & sounds fantastic it's been a project of mine over the last year. I've spent a lot of $$$ on the motor and the C-6 transmission. I wanted to put disc brakes and a power steering unit in, but ran out of time. Well we'll see, if I get my price the next owner can tackle that, if not that's the next thing I'll do. You wouldn't believe the attention you get driving this truck. I've owned a lot of expensive muscle cars in the past that didn't get half the attention this 57 gets. The rest you'll see in the pictures from the moon tank up front to the diamond plated bed in the back. There is a hood with a shoe box scoop. I had plans to put a boss 429 scoop on.

Might consider trade for Muscle car. This 57 Runs, sounds & Drives Great. All you need to make it a 30k + Truck is disc brakes, paint, I was going to paint it satin black & spruce up the interior a little bit. It's funny when people see you coming up fast in there rear view mirror they can't get out of your way quick enough. I'm sure the sound & rumble of the big block helps a little too.
