1946Ford One Ton Pickup Truck, rare truck inamazing all originalcondition with original Flathead V8. This truck had been sittingin a barn with the keys still in the ignition in the middle of nowhere since it was parked there back in the 1970s.Can help to arrange to ship anywhere for buyer. Superb natural patina to thepaint.Even the original wooden bed floor is still mostly intact.The tailgate has a grain flap cut into it like most prairie farm trucks of this period but it is straight and opens and closes smoothly. The doors and hood all line up great and open and close precisely like they should. All of the hub caps are still present. There is almost no rust with incredibly solid floorboards, just a little in the cab corners but it is very minimal. There are a few typical farm use dents to the fenders but far better than most of these original in-restored farm trucks. The wood side panels added to the bed sides look to be as old as the truck but are in remarkable condition. The interior is complete and the dashboard is in pretty good condition for its age. The seat will definitely need re-upholstering.It has not ran or been driven sinceit was parkedbut the brakes are not stuck at all and it rolls freely.
There is a piece of trim missing that runs along the top center of the hood in the photosbut I have since found this and it will be included with the truck.
Overall this is one ofthe most original trucks of this generation that you will find and it is really in great time warp condition for a farm truck that is 71 years old. It is exactly as Henry Ford built it and the perfect basis for a restoration.
