1965 Ford Mustang Fastback Description

Beautiful car, hate to see it go, but the stable is getting way too big. This is a yearly trophy winner and will be one for many many years to come.
1965 Rangoon Red California car (still have the black license plate). VIN# starts 5R09A which shows that this is an "A" code car which means 289 v-8 with 4bbl carburetor.
Rebuilt motor has only 1400 miles on it since completion by RJM Motorsports in Weare, NH. It's now a monsterous Probe Industries 347 Stroker with Edelbrock RMP Intake, Edelbrock RPM Heads, PertronixII Ignition, too many upgrades to list. 4bbl Holley with electric choke, this thing moves. Motor has 308 HP and 350 lb/ft torque at the wheels tuned by Performance Dyno in Concord, NH. Motor is painted black and gold to match factory original, painted to be verrry stealthy, this is a true sleeper. No one knows what it is until it roars away. I even have the original air cleaner that came with the car and it's been completely sandblasted and painted correct factory color, so you'll have the stock parts included. Drivetrain is completed by a 4 Speed toploader tranny and RAM 10.5 inch dual disc clutch, 3.10 gears for decent cruising mileage (14mpg is decent!!)Freshly restored engine bay, 4 spd toploader tranny. No AC, Manual steering, 4 wheel power drum brakes. flowmaster true dual with headers and H-Pipe. GT Exhaust tips with 2.5 inch pipes all the way from the headers to the chrome tip.
Suspension upgrades include new leaf springs with Shelby Traction Bars to keep the wheels on the road when the Stroker winds up.
Front springs are 620" lowering springs which combined with the new leaf springs make for a sweet rake that only the classic muscle cars have.
This will be the one you let get away.
