1931 Ford Model A Description

1931 Ford Model A RAT ROD!

I picked up this rat rod but decided to sell instead and move on to another project.

I'm really looking for a Model A coupe, sedan or roadster. Open to trade if the deal is right.

Motor, 40 over 283 (1955-1967 model)

GM pink rods

Keith black dish pistons

Clay smith 262 cam shaft/lifters

Stock heads with port work

Transmission, 1984 700r4 shift kit/2800 stall converter

91 Toyota t100 alternator

Stock 350 starter

Stock HEI distributor

1932 ford radiator

Malibu 10 bolt rearend 3;08 gears

Firestone whitewall tires 550-18

19 inch spoke wheels

Good looking pen striping on cab (see pictures)

I just completed install of edelbrock performer intake, edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor 600 series and new oil pan.

The truck was running fine prior to removing the blower intake setup. I drove it around town a couple days prior to removing it.

Now when cranking, the engine back fires and shoots a small flame from the carburetor but won't turn on.

Mechanic seems to think the timing is off but we haven't messed with it anymore.

The truck will need to be trailered.
