1965 Ford Mustang D CODE Description

Garage kept, last registered in 2003. 289 v8, D-Code, Automatic, A/C, Power Steering, Vinyl top. New paint 5 years ago, Almost entirely original for the enthusiast looking for original car. Copy of Lee Iacocca's 1964 World's Fair speech to unveil the Mustang included with car along with other unique papers for the 1964 1/2 Mustang.
Original Horns do not work and windshield washer bottle needs replaced.
New Carburetorwas put on, New tires, some chrome parts and mouldings were replaced when car was painted.Floor pans look in excellent condition with signs of minor repair around front foot wells.

Thanks for all the interest and questions, 1. Yes, that is the correct engine color for this year. Ford did not do the traditional blue for this first year 289 engine in the Mustang.
2. Yes, we've driven the car and it is very smooth and nimble on the road. No smoke or leaking.
3. We chose not to upgrade the generator or the master cylinder for originality.
4. The radio is Custom AutoSound and made to look original but is new. The original radio was missing when we aquired the car.
