1954 Ford F-100 Description

This 1954 Ford F100 pickup offers a great-looking paint job, beautiful interior, and a reliable Chevy 350 powerplant. For about the same price as a two-year-old F150, you can have this awesome cruiser with an oak bed and loads of character.Ford hit it out of the park with the redesigned F100, giving it a look that has been timeless with collectors and hot-rodders for decades. With a slightly cab-forward look that gives it a bulldog attitude and the appearance of great power and performance, it seems to work especially well with modern colors like the screaming yellow finish on this pickup. The fat fenders are still old-fashioned-looking, with rounded surfaces blending into the hood, it's one of those rare designs where there's not a single line or curve out of place. And although this one was finished a number of years ago, it still looks good enough to show with pride at the local shows, and you'll live climbing in and heading out to the local cruise scene where folks will admire the oak bed, the Ford-script taillights, and the way-cool forward-tilting hood that knocks 'em dead every time. Simple chrome bumpers, a bright shine on the paint, and the perfect stance make this a truck you won't be able to resist taking for a spin.Finished in handsome tan leather, the interior is also a nice blend of new and old, covering the original bench with distressed-looking leather that's a lot more comfortable than the original vinyl. Door panels are softened with more matching materials and there are plush tan carpets on the floor. The instrument panel is a billet piece that fits in the stock location and which is filled with Moon Eyes gauges, all neatly framed by the three-spoke billet steering wheel. Vintage Air A/C offers a comfortable cab on the warmest days and a tilt steering column makes it easy to settle in behind the wheel for a long cruise. An AM/FM/CD stereo head unit tucks into the center of the dash and powers speakers stashed throughout the cab for great sound. Even though the build is a few years old, it's all still in great shape. The engine is a 350 cubic inch Chevy crate motor that's built to cruise. The most notable addition is Edelbrock E-Street fuel injection, a setup that looks like a carburetor but gives this small block impeccable manners. It's sitting on an Edelbrock intake manifold and an HEI ignition system lights it up, so the entire system is quite reliable. Long-tube headers give it a horsepower bump, and the simple engine bay remains easy to service and handsome to look at with a few dress-up components. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission means anyone can drive this truck and it powers what appears to be the original rear end. The front suspension is a Mustang II setup with rack-and-pinion steering and disc brakes, but it's been lowered slightly for a fantastic stance that totally nails the look that you want in your old truck. The chassis isn't detailed for show, but no rust or signs of previous accident damage means that this truck has led a good life and the dual exhaust system offers Flowmaster mufflers for that hot rod sound. 18-inch aluminum wheels with staggered 245/45/18 front and 275/40/18 performance radials look right and fit well.Just a neat Ford pickup, ready to enjoy. Traditional, sure, but still able to work and have fun in equal measure. Call today!
