1973 Ford Thunderbird Description

1973 thunderbird with a 460. 4bbl. Run's and drives fine. No reserve. Clean title.Cons: mostly small but I'm trying to list eveything-Carb should be rebuilt or adjusted. Choke doesnt completely close to start sometimes I have to push it down to start but it always starts.-Clear coat is peeling in spots.-vinyl top needs replaced.-steering column is messed up. Tumbler does not work but can be started from inside. 4ways and turn signals DO work. Came with cruise control but does not work now. Horn not working.-Drivers side door does not open from the inside drivers door window rolls up in thirds. But need help to get past each 1/3rd.-door panels are in bad shape.-Small tears on interior.-two tires are dry rotted but still inflated. I wouldn't drive far on them.Alright well that's all the stuff I would say needs fixed to make this a perfect road car.PROS-460 runs great never overheats-transmission shifts well- suspension rides well and straight at 80 (been a year since I've gone that fast in it).-lots of options opera window lights power drivers seat. Power windows and locks still working. AC is disconnected but is factory and compressor is not seized.-all electrical works (minus cruise control/horn).-Two tires 2 years old with limited wear. Less that 2k miles.-Aftermarket dual exhaust-2 yrs old for the following yellow top opti drive battery($250 new)Water pumpAlternator /voltage regStarter.

I love this car I have a baby on the way and 16 mpg highway is not something I'm willing to drive especially when I have two other cars. The engine alone is worth the starting price. I would recommend towing it but if you put two new tires on it I would say you'd be fine to drive it cross country. Guaranteed to run and drive when you get here. Please ask if you have any question's.
