Dennis Buys Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback. The car has the desirable factory correct top-loader 4-Speed manual transmission and it is an "A" Code car. Car is equipped with 4-barrel carb, headers and great sounding dual exhaust with Flowmasters. It is a one family owned car and has never left Northern California. This is a rust free car.
The body is lazer straight with no evidence of any major accident. It has received a professional 2-Stage buffed and polished paint job in it's original Vintage Burgundy color. There is a picture listed of the car in its original paint the night I drove it home. As can been seen the body was very clean and the original paint had just faded out faded out.
All gauges, lights, directionals, interior lights work. Has original non working AM radio and modern CD player has been installed in glove-box. Miles are an indicated 31K and previous owners attests that true mileage is 131K.

I flew to Oakland on a Sunday to negotiate the purchase of this car. Even though I had a return flight that evening the car ran so well I decided to drive it home. It made the seven hour trip at a steady 70-80MPH and ran beautifully the whole way home without one mishap. It is equipped with manual steering and manual drum brakes front and rear.
This was a car that was been used sparingly but regularly in the last twenty years and because it was running so well when it came to us there was very little to be done. We replaced the windshield, did a major service with fluids etc and replaced the shifter bushings so linkages are nice and tight. We installed new 17" American Racing rims and tires.
4-Speed A code Fastbacks are getting hard to find and this beauty is a solid investment that you can reliably drive and enjoy everyday. We have clean CA title in hand and current CA registration.
