The car was purchased from the original owner's daughter. The odometer reads 39,000 miles which is confirmed on the title. The car runs and drives like it has 39,000 original miles.This is a nice project car that can be put on the road very easily as it sits.
The car was sold new at Beasly Ford in Dubois Pa. and spent its life in Somerset Pa. The original owner had the car until 1979. In that time they put the majority of the miles on the car and had the car painted twice. They sold the car in 1979. From 1979 to 1999 the car sat in a garage neglected. In 1999 the daughter of the original owners bought the car back and kept it until 2017. The daughters hair pin is still in the ash try where she left in in 1974.
Unfortunately the car did rust prior to its last paint job in 1979. The quarters, outer wheel wells, and trunk drop offs need repaired. The floors, inner rockers, and torque boxes were repaired "driver quality" They are functional but not too pretty. I tried to show everything in the video. Please call, text, or email with questions.
