1964 Ford F100 Short Bed Styleside
1964 Ford F-100 Description
1964 Ford F100 shortbed styleside. Body is straight and it's a rust free truck. Original issued CA black and gold license plates. Truck was repainted in Hot Rod Satin Black 3 years ago while retaining the original red interior. Newer chrome front and rear bumpers and mirrors with newer period era 15" Mag wheels and tires.
The tired original straight 6 was replaced with a 350 Chevy motor and turbo 350 trans by the previous owner. Approximately 80k miles on engine and transmission per their information. Brakes were upgraded to a power brake system with front discs and rear drums using a CPP Classic Performance Products complete kit. Dual Magnaflow exhaust. B&M floor mounted shifter. Has a 3:1 Ford Trak-Lok 9" rear end. Engine is stock with the Quadrajet carb, HEI distributor, and cast iron headers. Aftermarket gauges for tachometer, volts, oil, and temp and fuel are mounted in instrument panel with original working speedometer.
Dash is uncut and has the original radio and heating system but radio does not work. Wipers, turn signals, horn and lights work. Windshield and rear window were replaced and new rubber seals installed 3 years ago with new carpet and glove box. New window felt and division bars installed. New seat upholstery and seat foam.
Known issues with truck are small oil and transmission leaks when parked and the electric choke is not working at this time. Also, it could use new door weatherstripping but a new door rubber kit is included in sale. Paint has very minor blemishes. Inside of the bed has some small dents and irregularities from past use. Odometer reads approximately 92,800 but I'm not sure if that is actual miles on truck chassis or not.
Overall a very nice and solid short bed F-100. Regularly driven approximately 60+ miles per week. Clean California title.
