1926 Ford Model T Roadster Pickup Description

Hello Ebayers . Continuing to thin out the project her, up for sale this week is this 1926 Ford Model T RPU Roadster Pickup. This truck is out of an estate . An elderly man bought this truck years ago as a basket case . He spent his spare time in the garage assembling and refurbishing .
When i bought the truck i was told the frame had been blasted and repainted and everything went back new . The transmission had new bands installed and was rebuilt along with the engine . The Engine was converted over to 12 volt and a Distributor kit was added along with an oil dipstick kit.
This is not a show vehicl, You can see areas where there has been some filler glass used like firewall and tub area, The old timer was not building a show ca, he was building a Model T that he could drive around . There are some places on the body like the bed with some welds that were never dressed down . The doors do not line up properly and need some grinding and adjusting . The truck is ran off a lawn mower tank in the be, I have looked inside the Cowl tank and it looks really nice insid, i just dont think he ever got around to hooking it up . I also have all the top bows for the to, just no canvas. Has wire wheel, Does not over heat and runs pretty smooth . Carburetor could use a good going through . and distributor linkage i feel could be adjusted. it does leak oil when runnin, I think some of the gaskets have dried out from sitting in storage so lon, things like the push rod covers leak and a few areas around the hogs hea, On a side not, i was on a Model T forum where a gentleman asked " how do i get my model T to stop leaking oil " the response he got was " Sell It " ha ha. The engine needs an alternato, It does not have a charging system right now as it sits.
Underneath there is no rus, im going to say that 95% of all the bolts in the car are new . its a solid old ride just needs some finessing and tinkering to be reallly nice .
Just got the title back and it is clean and clear in my name ready for your signature .Car must be paid for within 7 days of auction en, I have a few friends that ship vehicles and can assist in getting you a quote if you would like to have it shippe, I can also assist in loading .
